ABOUT THE PARENTS:

The Puppies parents are both Registered UKC Blue, and Blue Fawn American Pit Bull Terriers. They have Razor's Edge, with lots of Purple Ribbon, Champions, and Grand Champions on the Sire's side, as well as Powerline, on the Dam's side. These are excellent Blood Lines. They will produce great dogs with excellent temperament , confirmation, spirit, as well as show potential.

Please be aware when you buy one of these puppies you will enter into a legal obligation to care for the dog in an appropriate and law-abiding manner. We also need to know that prospective owners understand the nature of an American Pit Bull Terrier, and the specific requirements of care for this breed of dog. Our purchase contract will contain the following section:

"Breeder reserves the right to reclaim said puppy, should the buyer be unable to provide adequate food, shelter, attention, veterinarian care or should puppy be used in any illegal activity, or be kept in such a way as to endanger it‘s life or health. In the event the terms of this paragraph are invoked, breeder shall not be obligated to pay buyer any consideration in as much as buyer’s breech shall be considered an abandonment of said dog."

This dog is UKC registered, sired by Purple Ribbon Sousa's Happy Haze. His grand sires and grand dams also include Purple Ribbon and Champion Purple Ribbon dogs. Beyond this, Handsome Fury's pedigree is full of Champion and Grand Champion Dogs on both sides- lots of Razor's Edge. He is pure Ruffian on top, Gamebred Hemphill, McCoy, Sarona on bottom.

This dog is Sired by Powerline's Haze - the product of two Powerline dogs, both of which are blue. Her Dam is K&P's Roxy, a beautiful big boned dog who is also sired by a Powerline Dog. Blue Fionnula's Great Grand Sire's and Dams include Candyland dog's and other Purple Ribbon winners.























BLUE FIONNULA 's WHELPING DAY:

Sunday Puppies: AUGUST 26, 2007

Eight Puppies were born starting at 9:12 AM. All are shades of Blue but we suspect some will become quite fawn, like their father. Fionnula proves to be a wonderful and cooperative mother. She trusted us with the puppies even as they were being born, and was willing to be helped in any way we found possible. She made a wise decision to have them on Sunday,

All the puppies are vigorous, and now that the day is over are sleeping peacefully.

Handsome waited outside the door all day. Tonight he gets to sleep in his master's room which is also next door to the puppies. That is special treatment. He met the puppies, but I am not sure he has a single clue about them. Mind you, I really don't think he thought they were kittens, and definitely not rats, so that is a good start.

(POST EDIT NOTE- Fionnula remains an absolutely wonderful dam. She is a very attentive mother to her pups, and an extremely cooperative dog with her owners, her pups should have all the right stuff)
